Aviation Merit Badge at Heber Airport


Earlier today I took my scout to the Heber Valley Airport where the Commemorative Air Force Utah Wing offers an Aviation Merit Badge class.   This class was very well done and I would highly advise any scout wishing to get the Aviation Merit badge to get it from here.  The cost is $10 per scout for the class, or $20 per scout if you want to spend the night and camp out near the air field.  For more information click here.

    Just noticed their website says $20/scout with mention of camping. Nothing about the $10/scout option :/

    When you schedule the event, you can do a "stay the night" for $20.00 per scout or just schedule a Saturday only session for $10.00 per scout. They like to have 7-10 scouts in a group, but if you have a small group, some times you can just piggy back on another group. That is what we did.
